This delicious drop was produced by two of Wyclif’s favourite sons and normally retails for $29/bottle. In it’s normal form it is fully sold out in Australia (and in the UK, US, Japan, South Korea, Italy and Denmark!) For the Wyclif family however, it can be purchased for just $99 a six pack, delivered to your door!!!
Destemmed not crushed ensuring whole berry remained, fermented in stainless steel. One week cold soak prior to a 4-week wild ferment and a 5 day post ferment maceration. Then 40% in old french oak barrels and the rest aged in stainless steel. A touch of sulphur added at bottling, unfined and unfiltered. 14.5%
Tasting notes: A real old school dry red gem, with silk from the fruit and the oak, producing a wine with juicy dark berries and a touch of quinine.
This wine drive is a crucial fundraiser for the club to ensure we hit next season in as good as shape as possible after the COVID crisis! Part of the proceeds will be going towards the Wyclif Academy, providing off-season training to our junior boys and girls.
